In a dazzling affair held at the luxurious Nobu Hotel in Portman Square, London, the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation (FLF) marked a triumphant fundraising milestone. The inaugural Invisible Incurable fundraising gala dinner brought together a myriad of supporters, industry leaders, and advocates. We are thrilled to announce that this remarkable event raised an astounding £500,000 to further our mission of finding a cure for follicular lymphoma.
A standout moment of the evening was the heartfelt address by Paul Adamson, a courageous individual who shared his personal journey of being diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. His inspiring words resonated deeply with the audience, offering a glimpse into the challenges faced by those living with this blood cancer. You can view his full speech below and explore his patient story here.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to our keynote speakers and special guests for sharing their stories with us. A special acknowledgement goes to Paul Adamson, whose courage in sharing his journey brings a human touch to the cause,” said Tom Keil, Director of Fundraising at the FLF.
The evening unfolded with an exquisite display of Nobu’s best dishes, complemented by a selection of premium cocktails generously provided by Diageo. The attendees were treated to an unforgettable live performance by none other than the talented Gary Barlow, adding a touch of star power to the evening.
A special acknowledgement is also extended to our sponsors, table buyers, live and silent auction contributors, and all those who generously pledged their support. Your collective efforts have propelled us closer to our goal of finding a cure for follicular lymphoma and offering support to patients worldwide.
